NEWS FLASH! FDA INVOLVED IN A POSITIVE NEWS STORY!

According to today’s U.S. News & World Report , the FDA has approved the first human trial using embryonic stem cells .  A California company, Geron Corp., will implant the stem cells in paraplegics.  The hope is to ultimately be able to restore permanent organ and tissue function, the company’s president said.

Mr. Barovick is a graduate of Columbia College and Cardozo School of Law. He began his legal career at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, where he tried over 20 felonies to verdict, and argued an equal number of appeals before the Appellate Division, Second Department, the New York Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Through the City Bar’s Medical Malpractice Committee, he has been active in the writing and presentation of related CLE programs for several years.
